Re: My indefinite departure
I'm sure your family needs and appreciates your presence more than we do, but... but... this is go we're talking about!!!
I won't bother missing you, you'll be back soon enough.

All the best!
An admirable decision too. Stop glaring at the corner and play the whole board. Family is most important.

Re: My indefinite departure
Hi,
and there goes my current number one choice for teaching in my full month study next year
. Nevertheless, you've been a great teacher (although it's been far too long) a great moderator and an informative Malkovich player.
I hope we'll meet again in the future, be it on the board or otherwise.
- Michael
PS: I'm not even sure that topazg is reading this, at least that's what I understand under cold turkey.

Good luck and take care of yourself. We will be here when you are ready to come back (but we will all be several stones stronger

Yep, going cold turkey lasted all of 5 days.
Hey, we miss you too.

Re: My indefinite departure
I left Go (99.9%) for 2-3 years to come back as active as ever...
You'll be back!
(I'm trying to post less on L19 than on GD, though

Re: My indefinite departure
Good luck topazg, family has of course the highest priority.
I tried to do the same sooo many times, but failed. The game is just too addictive. No way out!
Take good care of your family and I am sure you will be back soon

If you say no, Elwood and I will come here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day of the week.

Everybody respects your decision - but the forum will not be the same without you!
All the best and hope to see you back.
