It's possible to install wine through macports and then install tygem with wine. I haven't done this myself, but it should probably work.

Crossover Mac is probably the easiest. Then there's the various Virtual PC and such.

I'd rather someone just rebroadcast it for us -- but that's generally frowned upon :)

I just installed it w/ crossover Linux and it seems to be working fine. After discovering that the install was failing because mfc42.dll wasn't in the bottle.

I watched the Andy Liu Vs. Choi Cheolhan match live yesterday. I got to say that I understand how strong Choi is now. I am 2d kgs, if Andy Liu would play me, he'll gives me 7 stones handicaps and beat me down like pulp. But here Choi won the game easily, easy opening, middle game, and simplified the endgame. It was incredible how he did it. I didn't feel any difficult for Choi in this game at all.

and adding CA[GB2312] to the sgf will make the Chinese text legible in CGoban (and probably other popular editors as well)

Code: Select all

perl -pi.bak -e 's/\(;SZ\[19\]/\(;CA\[GB2312\]SZ\[19\]/' *.sgf
