I love the first volume so far: they are demanding, but not enough to make me give up, they also offer interesting moves and shapes to learn from.

Where are they, LCH L&D and Tesuji, being sold? I can't seem to find them anywhere.

Thanks for the help, but I already have a source.

Edit: on second thought these are much cheaper. How is shipping to USA?

Thank you! I had never heard of this site and they have a lot of good books. Unfortunately, the LCH L&D and Tesuji vols. 1-3 of each set are out of stock.

Speedchase, you said you have a source for these. Where are you planning to purchase them from?

Thanks. I will take a look. I have also found Abebooks expensive when I have looked for other titles in the past. It didn't occur to me to look on there for these problem books though.

To be honest the books themselves are cheap, but shipping costs from china is killer.

So... today was... interesting.

lots of school work so I only did 25 problems today, which is still pretty good. I think a total of less than a minute each, and i got near two wrong and near two more right but not the best variation because i have 1 point less territory or something like that. other than that I think I got them all right except for disagreements about the opponents strongest follow up...

Anyway I also made a large book purchase today including lee chang'ho tsumego and tesuji books. I'm excited . I am also looking forward too tomorrow, When I hope to solve more tsumego.

onwards and upward,

my life has calmed down a bit i guess, at least for the time being. well I solved alot more tsumego yesterday and today (mostly today). Now I am up to 640. Earlier today I really started working on slowing down my reading, and it is getting better. I spent well over 1.5 hours today maybe almost 2. I got 2 wrong and 2 no answers. I also read a little bit of tesuji. Reading Attack and defense has slowed down but I plan to start again tonight. I am also hoping to go to bed early and get some more sleep.

Today was a great day for go.

I did more than 100 problems from 1001 life death problems, read a couple pages of tesuji and played to serious games. I am in the hardest of the problems now, so It is getting tougher. I am slowing down and getting a smaller percentages correct, but I still get above 75%. Of the two games I played The first was an even game against a 7kyu. He had to leave, but I was ahead when he did, and I hope to resume tomorrow. The second was also an even game against a 6kyu. I wasn't very focused but I still managed a win. I feel like I am recovering from my mini-rut, and my go feels strong.

This is the game:

I am going to bed early tonight (after I review my games) because I have been overtired recently.
