awesome post on shape joaz, i've heard what is bad shape, but havent ever really thought about WHY it is bad shape....i really need to get some money together to get some books :)

Whenever you notice that you need e.g. 10 stones to settle a position and your opponent only needs 5 you have worse shape than your opponent. It's about getting your stones to work efficiently together.
