What's the time limit per game?

I'm excited for this, but I wish it happened a few years ago when both players were in their primes. Gu hasn't been the same since 2011.

I'm just glad they both agreed to participate. I've never seen one of these kinds of matches before, but between two modern giants, it will be amazing

Respect to both players for agreeing to do this series. It's actually quite risky for the loser's legacy; since the two players' careers have been so closely linked, the loser of this series will probably forever be remembered as the lesser player. With the rise of all these powerful new young stars, I'm not sure if Gu Li or Lee Sedol can win a major tournament again.

Give the guy a break. His wife is having a baby in September. But still, go masterpieces can be made by the sleepy or even ill, as history shows.

10 games match will start in 2014. Match will be played on last Sunday each month in 10 different cities. Each will have 4 hours. Winner gets about $800,000 and loser gets $30,000.

Living on the East Coast, I just thought of the most important thing: I hope they start each game bright and early!

I wonder what my wife would say if I announced I was taking a day's vacation to stay up and watch a deciding game...

I should note that there is a Sensei's page on the subject of their rivalry: http://senseis.xmp.net/?LeeSedolGuLiRivalry. It shows is that they've always been quite evenly matched in head to head play.

That is very cool. I will watch until I pass out. (Europe time zones not ideal for this one, but who cares!)
