there will be time..people might disagree with what i should have played.
i know what textbook answer to most opening..but sometime i want to go different path.
i dont think i can change my hardhead.

It's an interesting question whether White should play a wedge here or an approach. You have to admire Violence's spirit, but :wc: allows a pincer. I don't like the pincer, given both the :bc: stones and would prefer the wedge.

:b2: is popular, and is my guess for Black's next play. I kind of like the three space pincer at "a". It is not as severe, but it is harder to mess with its relation to the top right corner.

This attachment is something people with a style like Magicwand play. You'll find it often in asian clubs.

Commenters, it may be helpful to be explicit when posting your comment whether either of the players may read it. I think there is some confusion. That used to be done more often, but it hasn't so much (e.g. "Not for players," "For magicwand," etc.).

I have had this attachment sequence used against me, and was very intimidated. I believe my opening went up in smoke and down in flames. I am eager to see how both players follow it up.

I want to play without focusing too much on territory. It's important to keep a balance.

i guessed it wrong...but doesnt matter. at least i am fight at my ball park.
i know all the variation of this joseki. this joseki is point oriented play and loved by lee chang ho during his prime. fits my style.
