Cool cats. Though currently catless we are something of foster parents to neighborhood cat's yet the photographs of them on the computer are fairly lousy and they'd both probably be pretty upset if they were posted to the interwebs. So, here are some favorites instead:

Back in October of 2013, Mrs Banbeck and I were traveling through Pennsylvania. We stayed two nights at a B&B in the Amish country. We woke up one morning to find that we had a peeping tom.

Falstaff had his first visit to our local vet
The vet had a better scale than the shelter. He was 18 pounds, 14 ounces.
We calculated the amount of food that a 15 pound cat should need, and started him on a diet. After four weeks now, he has lost some of the flab.
Despite vigorous complaints about the food shortage, he is making himself quite at home.

Falstaff was at the vet's for his booster shots today. He is down to 18 pounds, 0 ounces.
Three more pounds to go to have a healthy cat.
This is him waiting in the cat carrier.

Any cat named Falstaff probably has a complex about needing to be overweight. If you wanted a thin cat you should have named him Twiggy.

I don't understand how cat's eyes do this. But I swear this has not been photoshopped.

I’m sure they do it on purpose, just to confuse us.

Hhm. My photo editor has a button to get rid of red-eye. But it says nothing about yellow-eye. (Nor pink-eye for that matter.) I wonder what that picture will look like if you use the red-eye button.

Nah, it's a handicap-boarded cat

Black wins, for only black has two eyes.

A game I played against Igowin 3k (was black with 9 stones handicap )
I think that the final position look like an abstract picture of my cat "bonbon".
