You must feel old. I will be eligible for social security in a couple of months, but have no intention of taking it for many years yet.

Everyone not pro by that age should probably just quit ;)

Last year, Joaz Banbeck wrote:... Never, ever trust your doctor.
( Modern medicine is very competent, but it has developed its own priorities. Keeping you happy and healthy is about 3rd or 4th on the list. Liability seems to be the primary concern. Making money is second. In many cases, propping up their egos is third. So it is up to you to look out for your own interests.
To do so, you need knowledge. Learn a bit about the basics. There are web sites run by reputable clinics like Johns Hopkins and Mayo.
When you visit a doctor, think of it like visiting a pro: you already know the basics, but you go for advice on the really complex matters or the latest discoveries. )

Happy birthday!

Just had my birthday on the 25th of May and finally turned 21!

Although I believe in sober living so it wasn't as exciting as most people would've seen it as. Although now I can go see my favorite bands that come through and only play at bars AND I've also seen it as a new door open in the social world. I can go to bars, be around a new scene with (what would feel like) brand new people to look at and a new challenge to pick up older women. ;-) plus I won't get turned down for any gigs because I'm not old enough to be in a bar. Woo!

21 factorial. You must be the oldest go player ever.

After 21! years of playing go, you'd think you would be at least sdk by now.

That's because of the sober living thing, if you don't drink there is no way to kill the brain cells with all the bad habits.

I will turn 43 this year. People who know me on Sensei's Library might know that already.
It seems to be a custom to add how old one feels. Well, that depends:

Headhunters have stopped calling me. That makes me feel close to retirement.
However, when I ride the bicycle from and to work, none shall pass. And only a few pass, all on a race bike. I'm a teenager on a bike.
When I'm in the table tennis club, surrounded by teenagers, I feel my age. But when I'm still reading math textbooks for leisure, I feel in my mid twenties.
And my mom can still make me feel like a baby.
