Hi,

recently started playing Go again. I'd happy to play a Malkovich game. I was around 7k-6k a few months ago. Although I'd prefer playing against (with?) a stronger player I'd be happy to play anyone.

I plan to play at least four moves a week. Probably more, but surely not less.

Cheers,
Michael

I'd play a game with you. A four stone handicap would probably be about right.

I'd be interested in another game. My account is now a solid 2kyu on KGS.

Also, people who could play lots of the moves ont eh weekend would be great because I work a double on saturday and this would help me pass the time.

I'm interested in another 9x9 game. They're fun, snack sized, and really test reading and endgame :D

Hi, I've been stuck at 3kyu for quite a while, so I'm looking for a game against someone equal or stronger, preferable a shodan without handicap. But a game with another 3kyu would be nice too, it'd make for a great study session :)

So, I thought I fancied trying another Malkovich game, given that, having gone through the enthusiastic newbie stage last year, I seem to have been letting my go interest and activity dramatically slip this year  I prefer slow time limits anyway, so a Malkovich game seems an ideal way to keep me my game in some kind of shape, especially given the need to actually justify each move (rather than, as I tend to, stare about the board for 5 minutes, reading a few variations and not much liking any, then slamming a stone down somewhere more or less random and thinking to myself "well, this might be interesting" ;-)). I was hoping to use the Teamovich I'm currently involved in for that purpose (and still do), but that inevitably is running fairly slowly, so I'm pretty sure I can fit in a 1v1 too.

I'm not too sure of my current rank, given my lack of playing lately, but it's probably somewhere around the 8/9k mark. Ideally, I'd like an even game, against someone in the rough 7-10k range (there seem to be plenty of players in this range active on the forum recently) - but if anyone slightly stronger fancies it, I wouldn't object to taking a modest handicap :)

Anyone interested, either reply to this thread or send me a PM. In the unlikely event of me getting many offers, I may even try to play 2 games at once

I had a very quick PM response from 1986, so we're going to play. If anyone else is desparate to play me and missed out, get in quickly, as I don't want to play more than 2 at once ;-)

I'd still like a game if anybody is interested. I have one going, but it's kind of a slow game and I could do another.
