Ootakamoku is BAAAAAACK!

Post by Bonobo »

Ootakamoku is BACK!

(only it seems broken again b/c it always says “WRONG” every time I place a stone :roll: (yes, that was kidding))

<edit>

Now it gives me those errors again (“Something went wrong when I tried accessing the server.”)

I swear I was able to login and do a few problems there just a few minutes ago … hope it wasn’t me who broke it again :-?

Is it just me or is Ootakamoku back — and working — for everybody?

Ok. I promise (PROMISE!!!1) that I will never again promote Ootakamoku unless it’s been working again for a week at least. It worked for me for about 15 minutes, then I left the site, and when I returned it gave those errors again.

Is the site down for anyone else? I'm seeing a standard domain parking page now.

Yes I see the same.

This was a wonderful site. I'd love to help host it.

IIRC there was a user on KGS with this username … maybe try to get in contact?

And a few weeks ago I was on a Scandinavian website of where I found Ootakamoku, but now I can’t find it again found it again :-)

I also loved ootakamoku.com, very sad it’s gone.

@macelee (and others?): recently Ootakamoku was online here and commented in another thread, so they’re apparently alive and communicative … why not send them a PM and offer co-operation?

I sent a PM 2~3 days ago and have not received a reply. It's a shame, really. Loved that site.

I wrote a PN to their Facebook account just this moment (don't know whether they’ll see it since we’re not “friends” there) and notified them of the current talk here … may do the same on Google+ if I get no reply.

Ootakamoku, referring to some other beta website where he can't play blitz because the sound isn't working yet, wrote:unusable
Speaking of trashing websites where the developer hasn't got around to something yet, what happened to http://www.Ootakomoku.com? A lot of people liked it, but since it became "unusable" there hasn't been a word here about it from you.
