:b25: Two plays worth considering are R-14 and Q-14. Black is thin here. These plays look to renewing the attack on the White group.

Ah, I got the colors wrong. White missed an opportunity to kill.

Another game against a 6 kyu, which I should have lost.. (I won with 1.5)

You: I think the middle game fight in the middle and my invasion at R8 could have costed me the game.

KW: your invasion at R8 was perfect

Your soft treatment of his invasion at the bottom made the game even again or perhaps better for Black.
The centre fighting was decisive: as said, try strengthening your weakest stones first in crosscut fights (but read all options too)

I am playing in Fox Go server since it's pretty much easier to find games and i liked the interface!
Here is my last game, I was white and won by 6.5.

Hi PlaySlow,

:b11: Maybe M3 more natural.

:b15: Shape problems.

:w20: Maybe jump; B cannot wedge.

:w22: Maybe unclear which direction is most profitable.
Realize the floating B stones are already a burden for B --
there's no hurry. Tenuki and take a big point;
decide later if/when/how to attack.
( Mostly because it seems the bottom is not very profitable --
so many 3rd like stones already -- how much can you gain there ? )

:b23: You induce B to go toward the top, where there's potential.

:w28: Why not C8 ?

:b29: B7.

:b31: D5.

:w32: B5.

:w40: E17.

:w50: Locally, K6 kosumi aims at N6 follow-up.

:b51: B gets a local shared point.

:w52: Agree with your note; I'd also take 3rd line.

:w66: How about N10 ?

:w68: Agree with your note; fix your shape directly.

:b71: You should've read :w66: more ...

:b75: ... :w66: is at a funny place.

Hello all, I just wanted to inform you about the latest situation about me & go. Since I began my new workplace on August 15th, I have played only one day, 6 games. I have managed to reach 6 kyu but didnot solve any tsumego since that time. Work has been hectic since then.

I'll try to spare some time starting from this week on!

I am playing and solving problems again this week. This is one of the games i have played on fox go server against a 6 kyu. I have some questions about fighting and direction of play.

More games and some questions about a game I've won on foxy. I think I've screwed a bit on the joseki on the left bottom.

Thanks for the great review Knotwilg. Two lessons noted; 1st is I'm too obsessed about shape points and ignore all the other moves when I see a potential tiger's mouth. Second one is to remember playing near to my weakest group in a fight.
