Umm I'll play in a malkovich with someone. I'm like 3-4 dan or so and I don't really care who I play with. I guess I'd be 123?

Is it necessary for each game to have a unique and consecutive number? It seems to me that simple the starting date and the two players should be enough. For example: 110602-me-you. This should identify the games nicely and remove the necessity for somebody to assign numbers.

Neccesary? No. But it is convenient for the observers.

Now that my game with emerus is over I open for another 1v1 Malkovich game. I'm currently 7k on KGS.

I'm willing to play any kyu, even if our ranks are close enough or with handicap. If we are going to play with handicap I really prefer the komi handicap version. I feel like I learned a lot in my last game

I think that you have a point in that the date might be an identifier that is easier to maintain correctly. "125" has little meaning. "06072011" has little meaning, too, but at least it's easy to generate.
