Another game against a 5 kyu. I felt like I'm ahead all game long until end game. I couldn't use the aji and thickness properly imo as well as some ddk moves here and there.
I noticed :b31: was 1 line off after review:D, don't u agree?

Some thoughts on this game:

Don't worry that you need to be alive before you can attack. Done right, you can make yourself alive in the process of attacking. Defenders often need to make contact moves, and contact moves strengthen both sides.

Most importantly: DON'T LET YOUR CUTTING STONES GET CAPTURED!

Thanks for the review skydyr!
Here's another game I lost to a player who makes overextensions all over the board at the beginning of the game.

Highlights

The opening was favorable because of White's overplays. You make a few soft moves in the early middle game but you are still ahead. Your sense of direction is way better than your opponent's.

78 - your positional judgment is way too pessimistic; we've seen this before, so you must really learn to do a positional judgment because your feelings betray you.

91 & 95 - two technical mistakes in life & death positions and White is alive, where he shouldn't; again this leads to needless frustration at your end, because you're still ahread, beit less than at 78

101 - a severe technical mistake, which White uses to gain tempo

115 - your sense of direction remains splendid

130 - your view is pessimistic; you stop caring about playing the best move because in your head you have already lost

204 - your view is pessimistic and you resign too early; ok White leads by komi in the late end game but at our level, we should continue to squeeze as many points out of it as we can

Hello again! Another game with some questions.. Especially about the bottom left corner situation. I think he should be in a worse position than me after the exchanges..

Some comments:

It's hard to say too much about the beginning, given the misclicks, but for all that, you did alright and got a bit lucky.

@Skydyr Thank you for your comments! I just didn't get one thing, after :w16: E2, if Black plays G1, G2, J3 or J2 to defend the cutting point at G2, can White live in the corner?

I don't see it happening easily (though it may be possible), but who said white has to live in the corner? White could just take a bunch of forcing moves on the outside.

A little update from me! My go work schedule is as follows;

[*] Solving tesuji and L&D problems from Get Strong at Tesuji, Cho Elementary and 1001 L&D.
[*] Learning josekis from my games and practicing them each day in a repetitive manner.
[*] Playing games (1 per day average) & reviewing each of them
[*] Playing games using Clossi Approach (http://www.shawnsgogroup.com/the-clossi-approach.html)
[*] Creating a problem sgf lists from reviews of my games and solving them repetitively.

Here is my last game vs a 4kyu, i got some questions as always:)i was white this game and i know there is a blunder in move 264, but he didnt see it.

Another win against a 5 kyu. I was Black this game. Thanks to your comments, I have finally managed to become a 5 kyu from 11 kyu in 1 effective (without long pauses) year. Maybe more If i play more, we'll see, I have %100 win percentage against 5 kyus now!

Your play in this last game seemed very mature to me. I particularly liked your willingness to make thickness, use thickness to attack instead of take territory, and sacrifice stones. I don't think your stop at 5 kyu will be very long. :)

Thank you for the courage mate! I have stopped for a long time at 10-11 kyu though:)

My study schedule now is that I'm solving questions from 1001 L&D questions, Cho's Elementary L&D and Get Strong at Tesuji at the moment. Other than this I go over a few corner situations each date cumulatively (1 situation at day1, 2 sit. at day 2,... 7 sit at day7) & repetitively from 100 Tips for Amateur Players-2.

I played a KGS 4kyu this morning, and WON! I didn't expect to win against a 4kyu to be honest but he tenuki'ed too much for my opinion. However it feels still better because I have a lower win percentage against guys who tenuki's much. I seem not to know how to punish them. Here is the game and my comments:

Another KGS game vs 1kyu, which i lost with Black. I thought my right side group was fine all game long somehow.. My questions and review can be found in the game. I think I try to read so many variants in game and losing time reading insensible variants.
By the way I became a 4kyu in KGS with my other account! Hope to solidify the rank.
