An important notice: 1.8.1 and 1.8.2 have critical problems due to its newly supported Fat binary(64-bit+32bit hybrid), as required by future submission.
A new fix was submitted. So if you haven't updated to 1.8.1, pls wait a while.

1.8.3 is out and the build is stable.

Version 2.1.3 was just released and it brings back the thumbnail based variation navigation without switching to tree view.

you posted recently a screenshot of Gu Li's recent victory in the 10th Chunlan Cup, an endgame diagram with move numbers.
I must say, those endgame move numbers are practically useless in being able to replay the game. I printed out a copy and tried unsuccessfully to replay the game. Many earlier move numbers from captures and ko fights are missing.
I realize there's probably not enough screen real estate to notate extra moves for duplicate positions, so there may not be a solution. But I would love to at least see the earlier moves on the blank spots where they were captured.

I think you want the color or white one:) (In Go Eye, set move per page to infinity. Otherwise you can customize the number of steps shown, all with ko list displayed).
All supported in Go Eye. The posted diagram is just to have some demo of the 3D board to make it look real. It is not meant to show all moves.

Version 2.2 is released with auto dead stone detection during end game scoring. And more others.

Go Eye does not seem to recognize negative komi. See
the games in this post.
Also has Go Eye lost the comma character "," for marking the star points when copying diagrams as text to the clipboard?

Thanks for reporting the problems. Will check it out and fix in next release.
I found that besides "," for star point, there are other definitions for markups which the top post in this forum doesn't describe. (At

Go Eye 2.2.1 was released.
Supports screenshot sharing through action menu.
Fully supports forum code generation when sharing from screenshot.
Adds a new option in Settings page to toggle semi-transparent display for captured stones in PDF book mode.
Fixes negative komi bug.
Fixes wrong coordinate label in game tree when setting coordinate start from bottom up.
Includes some other UI improvements.

Hi Mr GoEye, could you confirm if your app has the feature I mention in
this thread (automatic refresh of games loaded from kgs archive) and if so do you have any plan to make an android version?

In Go Eye, once you download a SGF from a URL, you can pull down the board and release to refresh the new SGF. So it is not auto refresh. It is refresh manually by a simple and common refresh gesture (like twitter, etc). Please refer to the attached picture (Release to refresh ...).
But no plan for Android yet.
