Life In 19x19

Man, I go on vacation for three days and everyone plays all their games! The standings page is finally updated.

Also, MountainGo and I will play Monday afternoon EDT, exact time TBD.

I will be playing daniel_the_smith this Saturday at 8pm EDT.

I defeated MountainGo by resignation. No one was around to review at the time, so any comments on our play, however brief, are appreciated!

Violence/lindentree and Magicwand/zinger -- Are you guys gonna play your games or what? Maybe we'll get an epic few games out of this!

W48 and the following few white moves seem quite bad. 48 seems bad because W loses all the aji in the corner, and the subsequent moves seem bad because white trades solid cash for a dubious center that doesn't even appear to be as large as the cash black gets.

Sorry, Violence was busy last week, and I'm busy this week with a job interview. I'll try to get available for the match in the next few days, but it doesn't help that I'm visiting relatives without internet. (on some random person's unreliable wireless at the moment, which also blocks KGS) Anyway, we all know there's only going to be one truly epic match coming out of these next few games.

Despite some silly blunders on my part, I think I put up a decent fight, at least enough to make it interesting.

Welcome to the club of of those who are completely out of the tournament. Our numbers are slowly growing, and soon, we'll be able to take over!
