This is about Team Shanxi's member Wang Zixin 1p's name pronunciation.
I just found out from Shanxi Weiqi Association's website that the last character in 王梓莘's name should be pronounced as Shen not Xin. This was confirmed by the player herself. So from now on I will write her name as Wang Zishen instead of Wang Zixin.
John pointed out couple of years ago that her name might be pronounced as Xin because both Zi and Xin are plant names. I think that makes good sense. There is a chance that her name was meant to be pronounced as Xin but once everybody started to call her Wang Zishen she just went with the flow. Since the player agreed that Shen was the correct pronunciation I guess we just have to go with that.
