The finals were Ilja vs. Ryan, with Ryan winning 3-1. The first three games were pretty close, with both players generally playing well. The fourth game was a little lopsided--I didn't listen to the post-game commentary, but during the game, Pavol and Ali seemed to indicate that Ilja was behind after the opening, and never had great chances afterwards.

Actually to the contrary Ilia had a great chance towards the end of the 4th game and would have taken the lead had he played correctly.
Unfortunately for him he misread and had to resign.

Congratulations.
As I mentioned some posts ago, it'll take a while for me to be able to follow a competition with the schedule of this one, so if there's a 3rd season shortly I'm afraid someone else will have to follow that one.
