Not as bad as it seems on the first sight. There seems to be a connection between go and music. When I was around 15k I was dreaming while listening to music, and the quarter notes appeared to me as one point jumps and the half notes as two point jumps.
Several weeks ago I actually dreamt that I was playing Lee Sedol in a casual game. I don't remember much except that we were talking to one another as if we were life-long friends. Very weird and his English was impeccable.

Addiction or constipation, that is the question - which brings us back to the thread: How much time do you spend studying go?

When the first time you hear about large news events such as Michael Jackson's death is on KGS.

I agree - make me wonder how many Go players are musicians.

When you wake up to your son jumping on your head saying "dgo dgo". And your wife sighing then pulling out the goban under the bed.
When you play go within 5 min's of waking up, BEFORE you get out of your night ware

When other people are reading, sleeping or doing work on the bus, you are solving tsumego.

haha, boardz is the reason I learned! I've been getting clobbered by Ludwig (another go player--not sure if he's on L19 yet or not) for the last couple of months

My first is GD, second is L19...on my work computer.

Don't forget watching go video lectures while on the bus, or playing against the computer. Only have WiFi on my smartdevice, so I can't play online while moving.

When you consider buying an iphone (or other smartdevice) just to be able to note down go games.
Now I'm considering an android for kgs.

You're basically addicted to Go when it distracts you from the mindless web surfing that used to distract you from everything else.
