Two things: First, I'm not worried about you (or anyone else for that matter)...Second, you have provided a solution if a dispute comes up (I'm not anticipating anything), so that is acceptable.

Maybe try asking in General and the KGS room? I know some people don't check this section very regularly, but would join if they knew.

I'm (still ) ~8k - though haven't played much besides a couple games on OGS against friends/club members, so hopefully that's close.

We have a relatively balanced tree. I hope this is everybody. If you have a last minute urge to join, we can fit you in, but your pairings may be very unfavorable.

One thing isn't clear to me from the new first post: what's the format of the challenge between the winner of the tournament and incumbent champion? I assume it's at least three games, if the challenger is chosen in a best of three. Does the challenger start with losses?

Correct me if I'm wrong Joaz, but I don't think the winner of last year's tournament has any affect on the winner of this year's tournament. In fact, Tabemasu (last year's winner) didn't even register for this year's.
