I believe I will take some time with this move. Just so you know Unusedname.
Observers:
To everyone else, I feel like I NEED to take my time with this move. It's probably not a critical point, but I want to avoid flubbering away another game due to playing without thinking properly. And given that this is a Malk game, I can take more time than usual.

I think White should have made a simple jump instead of the knight's move.
No rush. I suppose I'll take the time to count and do other mysterious low dan rituals.

If one isn't available, you can substitute a chicken from the supermarket for a live one, so long as it still has the giblets.

Well if my assessment is off then we know why.
so I give 40 points to black for his left side and 10 points in the UR corner.
I get about 20 points in my UL corner and 10 points from my 3-3 stone.
Um I wasn't sure how to classify the upper middle group. I think it can find a way to live. But if it dies it's worth 40 points. I think I'm definitely going to find time to go back and make sure it won't find life on the side.
Um... I suppose that means i'm behind. Unless I can kill the upper black group in which case i'm far ahead.
I think i've successfully ruined the bottom side for black just by being given a free move. Also if Black tries to run with this group I might be able to get more points along the right side.
Black can find more points extending along the right side as can I. So I think that's going to be a really big point.
After careful consideration, I no longer care about the bottom. Worst case scenario, plays K4, but I'm not even worried about that. I decided I needed to make a move at the top. And perhaps I can split F13 off from the rest of the stones. Maybe.
Either way, I feel quite comfortable with this game. After this, I plan to aim for the right side. If I get that, I feel it will be a decently comfortable walk to the finish so long as I refrain from my trademark silly moves.

I personally feel my top group is okay for the time being. I do worry about it somewhat, but I feel I can make moves to make life if necessary. Let's keep this party rolling!

SIGH that doesn't feel very good... I don't like his move again. It is probably best i settle my stones first, but my stones are stronger then his so I think i'm fine with both of us running.
