Yes, but you cannot be gone for more than 5 to 10 minutes or you will lose the game. Today's escapers can leave the game and stay away for days.

Well, it happened that I was playing and the electricity went off. So, I am an escaper? I need a mark? Accidents happen.

An awful lot of the people who escape against me don't even bother to log off. They just start playing another game immediately with somebody else. Could the system give that higher weight when deciding if somebody is an escaper, since it's clear they aren't suffering 'connection problems'?
It doesn't bother me that much when somebody escapes at the end -- at least I got a game in. What I really hate is people who just escape for no apparent reason in the middle of the game.
