Is it still possible to play this game?
If possible, I'd like to play an even game as white. I am about Tygem 5~6 dan.

As discussed, I'll be your opponent.
I made a thread here:

Hello!
Performing at approximately 4k+-2 KGS, I'd be happy to play with anyone of any strength, although I may only post around one move for every 2,3 days sometimes.

I'd be happy to play an even game with you. I like this kind of game as it feels something more than simply playing moves in DGS for example.

Yay! Do you want to play a specific colour?

I usually prefer white. You can make our game.

Okay, I've created a post in Malkovich-- pardon me, as I'm still familiarising myself with the format.
viewtopic.php?f=37&t=12531&p=196592#p196592Number 256, I think, the next game should be,
Num. 257

As new year is approaching I would like to try another Malkovich game. My current EGF rating is 4k. At least part of the recent increase might be caused by my last Malkovich game experience with moyoaji about one year ago, where I started at EGF 6-7k. So far for motivation...

. I'm open to any strength / color / handycap combination, so please feel free to reply. BTW merry christmas to all

Edit: I will try to play at least one move about every 1-2 days but sometimes there might be breaks about 1-2 weeks due to holidays, business trips etc.

Any handicap?
I've had another idea for a modified Malkovich that I'd like to try. I call it "Solicitation Malkovich".
The basic idea is that there are no handicap stones, but the weaker player gets to ask the observers for advice on limited occasions. ( Sort of like 'ask the audience' in 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire' ).
I'm thinking that the weaker player gets to solicit advice once for every stone difference. That could be some powerful advice, as we routinely have observers in the 5-6 dan range.
BTW, such advice would have to be unhidden, so that the weaker player gets one ply of advice. Otherwise, one post of advice could have a dozen or more moves in it.

1ply of "advice" isnt usefull at all, if its a tactical situation and you cant figure out the point... or do you mean an advise, that advises just one move and gives all the lines/one line justifying it? In any case(no matter what kind of advise is allowed), it doesnt have to be unhidden, you can trust the avisor to follow the criterions of advise just as well as you trust your opponent not to read your hidden comments

I agree that 1 ply isn't always that useful, but it seems reasonable to put a limit on depth and such. If there are a lot of responses, it may also give too much, so perhaps it's best to have the responders hide the advice and then openly post one diagram or so once they come to some sort of consensus?

Nice idea, the question is whether the audience just can be asked to show some good move in a given position or if the weaker player shall first suggest a few possible alternatives in a critical moment (e.g. shall I reduce at XX, invade at YY or tenuki at ZZ), and ask the audience to share their opinion on that?

I'm not familiar with earlobe lingo.
Does this mean you are challenging 'skydyr'?
- If yes, have a good game!
- If no, I'm up for another game.
