Update 0.9.58
1. Added new window for recreating board (Ctrl+C hotkey). U can create board with any size from 2 to 52 width handicap from 0 to 9.
2. Added error window, u won't see any alert's anymore only internal error windows.
3. Now after ascii-diagram window opened text will be selected automatically. So u can just Ctrl+D + Ctrl+C to copy it to clipboard.
4. Fixed several bugs:
Fixed bugs with big boards: now boards with size up to 52 are supported, drawing handi points, save/load sgf works normally for any board size now. Fixed bug with saving pass move. Fixed bug with saving marks (previosly it was saving in invalid SGF format). Fixed bug with loosing focus after closing some windows like Askii-window.
PS: FF-extension won't update it automatically till they will review new version, but u can try new version if u will install it manually from versions page

Please see
this post for a new bug that significantly 'improved' an otherwise boring go problem.

Version 0.9.60 (Chrome/FF/Goban.org)
1. Non-square boards now are supportes. U can save/load sgf files with non square board size. Also u can create non square board via Ctrl+C hotkey, format is "SizeX:SizeY", for example 10:11.
2. Fixed bug with slow loading of sgf files with a large number of comments, in particular Kogo's Joseki are now loaded much faster, especially in FF.
3. Added several links in the "About" window, in particular were added link to this duscussion.
4. Fixed bug with colors counter.
5. Were added buttons in FF-extension and Chrome-extension near omnibox to load empty board. So now u can open Web Go Board without any sgf-file.

Unfortunately no sign of 9.60 yet in firefox. I am trying it in chrome. The animation of the shadow stone following the cursor seems to have slowed down greatly. Is there any way to turn this off?

It turned out that on some computers (not all), in Chrome WebGoBoard can work rly slow (it can lag). This is a bug of Chrome, because, for example, with the 38 version of Chrome and below there is no any lags. I had checked serveral regular PC's and WGB worked normally, but on my laptop I had strange lags in Chrome but no any lags in FF and IE. Anyway, I had decided to release a small update :
0.9.61
Improved performance of moving target, also now u can turn off the target at all (settings->appearance->show target).
PS: If u want to know do u have any lags or not in ur browser u can check it on this page
http://www.vsynctester.com/ The result must be 60 fps.

Just in case not everybody’s yet convinced of this awesome browser extension:
I went to
http://homepages.cwi.nl/~aeb/go/games/games/index.html (a site with many pro games SGF, you may want to bookmark it), then one folder deeper to the 13x13 pro games, then loaded an SGF directly in Chrome using the wonderful HTML5 “Web Go Board” extension (for
Chrome,
Firefox)
Edit, save, export in several graphics formats (for the animation I reduced the window size to get a smaller file).
This is what it looks like in my browser:
And here’s an animated GIF of the game (I reduced the window size to keep the file small):
AND IT WORKS FOR ALL SGF HERE!!111 (oops, I shouted)
Thank you, KOCMOHABT! May the stars always twinkle with a smile!
