Well, if we are going to play in the upper right, i'd choose Sinks nomination.
But I don't know if it's right. White can play in the upper right, it seems slow to me, though. If he chooses to enclose the corner, we can still approach from the top (around M-N16-17).

Click Here To Show Diagram Code [go]$$Wcm13 Prisoner Count: B-0 W-0I think sacrificing the stone is definitely right but I would do it with the moves at 14 and 16 because it wins us the point lesenv suggested while forcing white to respond. 17-2 seems like a reasonable continuation then but it does end giving white sente and leaving us vulnerable to a monkey jump in the endgame. There are a couple of variations which are lot less settled but I definitely think the first two moves set up our best response and I don't think sacrifice as much territory as ignoring the massive moves still to be made would.

the result looks very good to me. they get the monkey jump, but we get some kind of walls facing south and east (center, tengen). let's do it.

So we probably want to invite someone around 8k to counterbalance me. Maybe we can ask Jordus or Simba. Don't really know any other 8k's heavily involved in Malkovich games

I think a temporary replacement might be a good idea. Having three on the team helps bring out good ideas, I think.
