I'd be interested too if there's an open position.

That would make us 4 players and 2 players are still needed.

I am probably a very weak SDK (rank unstable), I'll play if I can fit into a team. I learned a lot from malkovich games, so it would be fun to be a part of one.

This was my best attempt at figuring out the ranks of interested parties, is it accurate? If so, there are fairly large gaps between the 3 weakest players interested.

I'm probably in the neighborhood of 5k on kgs. I play there pretty rarely, though, so take it with a grain of salt?

I guess that we're looking for another player in the 5kyu range then? And maybe some high dans players.

I'd like to do it. I was holding off volunteering because I've been so rubbish at making regular moves in my 1v1, but recently I've been getting more serious about go again so I think I can handle it.

If you guys want to hold out for someone more reliable that's fair enough though.

There will be 3 ( or 5 ) people to harrass you instead of one. How consistent will you be?

If you actually do harrass me I doubt there'll be a problem. Any lazyness on my part is a sign that you're being too nice to me.

More seriously though, I went through a phase of feeling like I had to put off making moves in correspondence games until I'd devoted enough time to find the the best move I possibly could, but now I know better and have been making moves more regularly. This combined with my renewed interest in go is enough to make me feel pretty confident I can handle another Malkovich game, but I know my track record isn't good so I completely understand if people would rather hold out for someone else.

Edit: That's starting to sound a little manipulative, so let me put it this way: I promise I'll do better so please let me play.

Sounds like we have a game? What specific rules do you all want to use for interventions?

I think the BB4 system of 5 consecutive uncorected moves = +1 correction was a good one. Maybe the exact numbers need tweaking though?
