IGS bug ?- Lose on time while not my turn to play ???

This weekend, I played a game on IGS and lost on time.
What's weird is that my ipad client didn't displayed the last move... so I was thinking that was not my turn to play (and I even just cannot play however...)
So
move 113 never appeared on my ipad... What's strange is that I was still able to send a message... but that was move 112 for me, not 113 as it actually is on the sgf file, and I didn't saw any reply to it [edit] reply to my move, I saw the reply to my message[/edit]... that's why I asked him if he was still there (which I don't like to do BTW)...
There as been a deconnection during the game, may be the bug comes for here...
I don't care that much on losing that game, but feel sad for my opponent as I suppose he didn't understand what happened...
Despite the time problem, the game went like this...

That's an unfortunate situation, but I think your opponent knew you were having connection issues. You mentioned it the turn before you lost on time.

On an open board, and in the case of

I would recommend continuing to be pushed from behind. Don't even hane. Just give black all the 2nd line territory he wants. The 2nd line is called "the line of defeat" for a reason. If he wanted to take it clear across the board, just keep going.
The reason the joseki ends after only two 2nd line moves is because that is what's required to make the next move against the corner gote. Black does not want to push further. Pushing from behind is bad. Taking 2nd line territory is bad. Pushing from behind while taking 2nd line territory should be almost unbearable.

Yeah, I have noticed that sort of thing happening with IGS myself. It motivated me to find a different server. It seems like IGS is too popular for its own good sometimes.

It sounds like a client problem to me. On iOS, I assume you were using tetsuki?

yes, I'm using the pandanet "tetsuki" app, and I agree, that should be a client problem, as the server let me archive the "whole game" at the end.

It may be a bug, but I notice these things happen when the server appears very busy.

version 5.2 seems to fix the problem. that said, it happened to me only once...
