Hi everybody. I've been playing go off and on for a year or two now. Haven't done much in the way of studying for a while. Often feels like the people I'm playing against know things I don't. I'd greatly appreciate any insights you fine people might have. Also, advice as to topics that a person around my level should consider studying.

I recently found out how to use the kgs teaching tools so I made sure to decorate the board with many triangles and squares.

I played white.

Hi Zarzaphel,

Here are some comments on your game (starting with a *), I hope they will be of some help.

Hi ZZ, notice the ( :w64: - :b65: ) exchange makes a bad shape
for yourself: broken shape with the :w8: stone. :w64: hits yourself
on the head ( especially if you don't follow up with o5 hane or o6 jump), reduces your own libs, makes B stronger ( removes any bad aji for B there ), etc. -- multiple bad habits all in one move.

At least I'm being efficient. Now I just need that to translate into something other than with bad habits ;-)

They were of great help. First time having someone else look through one of my games. It's a very enlightening experience.

I make only one comment.
