I lost by time

I started playing on IGS because I got frustrated trying to install KGS on my Macbook. The interface is really annoying to get accustomed to. The time threw me off. I couldn't tell how much I had so I lost because of that. Anyway, if you're up for it, I'd greatly appreciate your thoughts on the notes I made. Also I'd welcome anyone to point out any other mistakes that I overlooked and lastly, if the game had continued, was I on track to win? I played as black.

Thank you!

W ignored your :b34: (F4), so you hane G3 -- take advantage locally first.
If :b34: is not sente (no bite), then why play it.
This is not to say whether :b34: is good or bad (that's another
issue entirely), just that you missed the natural follow-up G3.

- :b37: (G4): locally, not good: if W H4 tiger's mouth, do you see W makes good shape
while you hit yourself on the head? Better not to do this exchange.

- :w38: too early (endgame move).
- :b39: too small. For example, R17 much bigger. I would consider G8,
capping the W group.

- :b41: locally, good, this is the local shared vital point.
- :b43: bad: standard bad habit; you just reduced your own libs.

- :b45: very small and slow, almost a pass. (R17 still much bigger.)

- :w48: now you get an idea why the double knight is actually not an efficient shape: 3-3 is still open.

- :b51: seems soft; S4 instead is a first feeling to kill.
As your homework, study the life-and-death if :b51: at S4.

I think I figured it out. Depending on how white plays
Click Here To Show Diagram Code
[go]$$W
$$ ------------
$$ | . . . . . .
$$ | . 8 3 9 0 .
$$ | 7 . 1 2 . X
$$ | . 5 4 X . .
$$ | . 6 . . . .
$$ | . . X . . .[/go]
Thank you for the insight

But then there's this possibility

Actually 3-3 there can be killed but its hard and bad aji.

@chef your diagram is for r4, Ed suggested s4. Also in your variation white has a better move 9. After move 7 white had made a tripod group which is alive.
