Im watching now a professional match in youtube and they are using an analog clock. Why? I thought these kind of clocks were obsolete in professional games.

Can you play byo yomi with analog? They are good for absolute time, maybe Canadian... but how can you play go with these clocks without interrupting the game?

Was the clock being managed by a game recorder? In that case the game recorder has a stop watch they use for byoyomi, and count down the seconds. Makes the whole thing seem more official to me. :)

I tend to have the same reaction when I see somebody using a PC. Funny... ;)
