Baduk: a poem

A simple game
becomes poetry itself
click
clack
the sound of black and white
dark and light
good and evil
an aspect,
of an eternal struggle,
made manifest
on a galaxy of nine stars
beauty is born

An anecdote, from my faint memory:
A famous composer (was it Beethoven? Mozart? I don't remember) was once visited by a friend.
He played his latest piece of music for him.
The friend then asked him for its meaning …
… and the composer went back to his piano and played the piece again.

If you have to ask you will never understand. I will never understand either as I could never make any sense of poetry.

It's just words, for crying out loud. The poem is a description of the game of go, one in which the game is described as a conflict between extremes, a representation of an eternal struggle which is at the same time the birth of beauty. Not really all that difficult.
I personally don't think this captures the essence of go, and I also don't see beauty as a result of conflict, and furthermore, the words "click" and "clack" make me think of car talk, so my impression is that the poem has missed its mark, but it's not like it's something unfathomable like probability or statistics...

I was referring to the format, as opposed to expressing the idea in prose.

Well, I like it
"click" and "clack" make me think of car talk.
I'm willing to bet most people on this forum have never listened to NPR
