Creating a Tampermonkey Byo-Yomi Countdown for OGS??

I'm simply amazed at the lack of proper countdown (both audio and visual) on OGS. I don't think it would be very hard to create a Javascript extension to edit countdown settings. I have almost no programming knowledge but I'm going to try it if I have to.
I feel like I need to extract the clock element and poll it every second... then play my downloaded audio countdown for the final 10 seconds OR just make it bigger and flashier when in the final seconds of a period.
Anyone interested in helping me out?

OGS has an audio countdown. If you're experiencing a bug, the OGS forums (
https://forums.online-go.com/) are an excellent place to report it. OGS also has a uservoice page (
https://ogs.uservoice.com/forums/277766 ... e-requests) for feature requests if you have suggestions for improving the countdown.

I've done both.
The audio is about 10% as loud as stone clicks. And I requested this months ago.
... I have no faith in OGS crew.

This is simply not true. I play with the default sound settings and it sounds fine.

I can't find any posts under "emerus" on the forums. Did you report it under another name? As for uservoice, I don't know if this is your request, but it's similar:
https://ogs.uservoice.com/forums/277766 ... r-byo-yomi.
As you can see, this feature is planned, though it has not been implemented yet. The developers have been a bit busy with other things the last few months, but in general they are very responsive to feedback and the site is being actively developed.
With regard to audio being significantly quieter than stone clicks, this is the first I've heard of such a problem. If it was a problem on the OGS side, I'd expect it to have been more widely reported by now. I suggest making another forum post, or bumping the last one you made, giving the developers an opportunity to investigate.
