I just subscribed for be a beta tester but i have some troubles for watch free videos . The player seems doesnt work , is use google chrome but maybe better with internet explorer maybe ?

Same here — after I unblocked the site everywhere (Ghostery, Disconnect, AdBlock, GlimmerBlocker) I can finally see a video player in one of the free videos’ pages, but it doesn’t play, sadly.

OS X 10.10.4, Google Chrome Version 43.0.2357.132

On Windows 7 64, the free videos didn't play in any of Chrome, IE or Firefox (all browsers patched up to latest versions).

Folks, the initial stages of beta testing for a multiple platform application is bound to have some serious problems. There is no way whoever is doing this software would have available more than a small fraction of the possibilities to have tested upon during alpha testing. As beta testers, you report the problems you encounter directly to who called you to beta test for them.

Software in beta is NOT ready for ordinary, expected trouble free use. If that is what you want, then wait for the production release.

Also, I think it's too expensive, considering the amount of other quality Go vides on YouTube, which are free. Also in comparison with Guo Juan's video lectures and online training system.

We've confirmed that it is internet connection issue due to recent server setting changes. Visits from some location will be very slow, even unavailable.
We'are finding solutions, and I will post the progress.

I tried to look at one of the free videos - http://en.weiqitv.com/video/19 - today at noon GMT+1 (which is 6 p.m. in Beijing) but it took a long time (several minutes) to load in Firefox 39. Shortly after it began (40 secs), playback stopped again and I had to wait several more minutes for it to start again, and again it only played for another 40 seconds or so before stopping. I also tried watching the video in the Opera browser (30.0), and although the performance was a bit better, essentially the problems were the same.

Videos don't work in both Chrome and Firefox with all addons disabled..

Also the site is slow.

The video playback seems to fluctuate from not playing at all to perfectly managable. It's often necessary to reload the page quite a few times for it to start, and a few more times still if the video keeps buffering. However, it tends to usually work at some point, although there are times when it's just not in the mood to play at all.

It seems like it works now, I can play the videos.

Still hiccups, sometimes it works well, sometimes very slow and buffering forever...

No, normal everything.

Videos still don't work. They window loads but video never starts.
