Korean selection process ended.
Kang Dongyoon and Won Seongjin were selected by beating Shin Jinseo and Lee Donghoon.
Seeded; Park Junghwan, Park Younghoon, Lee Sedol, Kim Jiseok, Na Hyun

Fan Tingyu, Ke Jie, Shi Yue, Chen Yaoye, Gu Li, Lian Xiao, Qiu Jun, Tang Weixing, Tuo Jiaxi, Huang Yunsong, Mi Yuting
Schedule:
19-24 April - first 3 rounds
9-14 June - best-of-3 semifinals
9-12 August - first two games of best-of-5 final
22-26 October - remaining games of final
30 players in total (more than before). Fan Tingyu and Park Junghwan (top 2 last time) are in round 2 directly.

Fan tingyu got his promotion to 9d from winning this tournament at age 16 or so.
