I suppose that this passed most people by, but Kirsan Ilyumzhinov has stepped down as head of FIDE (Chess's governing body). He has not stepped down as head of the IMSA the governing body for mind sports.

The sanction - yes. The tournament - no. I am compiling the game records right now. There are 30 high quality games involving European and North American pro players in the Men's Team tournament.
