Lee Sedol resigned from Professional player's association.

Lately Lee Sedol 9P, who had so many people's expectations and eyes recently. resigned from professional player's association. His brother (Lee Sanghoon 9p) also resigned.

Lee 9P pointed out several regulations which are not fair. 1. If the one is not a member of professional group, he can't play in the tournament. 2. All players should pay 3 to 5% of their earning without any reason.

Professional player's association is supposedly just fraternity group which does not have any written right to enforce any rule to players.

Interesting... Isn't this the second time in the past few years that Lee has come into conflict with the association? I'm curious as to how the association is funded, and if it needs a portion of players' earnings to operate.

I hope a resolution can be reached soon. Meanwhile, Lee Sedol is obviously very welcome to play in China so we can all continue to enjoy his games.
