This issue is heating up amongst Chinese readers on Facebook and WeChat. I thought it might interest English-language AGA members, too.

I know none of the people involved in this issue and don't have a strong opinion. But I do believe that sunlight is the best disinfectant.

Do we know who the author of the Wordpress blog is?

It's difficult to say that there's only one author (e.g. maybe it's a shared blog), but someone affiliated with the Massachusetts Go Association is likely to be a potential source. I know Chun Sun (he's a great guy), who helped in translating some of the other articles published on the blog. He also shared the blog post on Facebook, but I don't know if he's the author of this particular article.

I believe this is Chun Sun's blog.

Holy cow. I've got no problem with providing a service to get people to the US for the Go Congress and grossly over-charging for the luxury, but the stuff about misusing the copyrights, misrepresenting yourself as an organization rep, violating policies for minors, abusing convention staff, and being fraudulent about the actual events in question are all beyond the pale. I mean that's just revolting.

If even half of this is true (I haven't heard anyone else's side of the story so I'm not going to pass judgment) someone needs to be sacked.
