I saw the joseki in this game. (Look at 2:35)
I didn't found the joseki in Takaos basic joseki dictionary. Not basic anymore or just too new? Where can i find variations (also the bad ones) for this joseki? The result looks like a simple joseki. But the knight move looks very strange to me. Thanks for help.

Hi Nagilum,
One database returns 136 pro games, from at least as late as 2009 ( Cho U, Kono Rin, Yamashita Keigo ).

The main idea of this knight's move is to try to make black inefficient: if he simply blocks then it becomes a good exchange if white continues with the butting move* and black descends because if the order were reversed Black would not block but extend sideways or push up. So Black will answer in a more efficient way.
* in fact white can hane in the corner too now but that's more complicated.
