Just received this in my email in case anyone is interested:

Please note: This FREE “purchase” only works within the iOS app, not on the Web site (because of some peculiarities of the site Anders cannot set the price to zero there). But after “purchasing” it, it will immediately synchronize to all your instances of Go Books (for me: iPad, iPhone, and my Mac).

Just to say I couldn't find this in the gobooks app.
I'm guessing I have to wait for some kind of update to the gobooks app to appear through the apple app store updates process.

On IOS just kill the gobooks app or reboot and it will appear.

PeterHB, you’re not the only one who had that problem … I also had to restart the app to force it to load the current catalogue. If that doesn't help, restart your device and then restart the app, that should definitely do it.

Interestingly, it has come through now. So it seems just waiting worked.
I didn't restart the device or close the app, and there were no updates in the app store for SmartGo.
So something came along and updated it. Don't know what.

Maybe some regular timed schedule for updating the catalogue, I’d guess. Nice that it worked now
