Is there a place to buy a huge quantity of go stones? let's say 3000 black stones and 3000 white stones?

If my calculator app did it right (resp. if I did it right), that’s 16 sets plus a few stones in reserve, meaning that this would enable 32 people to play on 19×19 … so … a Go club perhaps? Or some tournament?

Or a school planning to include go as a club or even as part of the curriculum << for example, in my immediate area is a "charter school" whose program is "Chinese immersion". So I could easily see them getting a quantity like this.>>

I see standard size (I think) sets of go stones on Amazon for as low as $15 per set. Depending on what kind of stones you're looking for, something like that might work.

I guess I needn't tell you about the American Go Association (AGA, usgo.org) … I think they’d also support your club with playing material.

Actually I am about to open the 2nd go club in Costa Rica, so I don't think AGA will could help as I am in USA

Oh, OK, I jumped to conclusions b/c you said “shipping to Miami” … and in your last comment you meant to write you are NOT in the USA, right?

Yes, actually it is a valid conclusion given the context. The reality is that here in Costa Rica (and I guess in several parts in Latin america) there are courier services that allows to have an address in USA, so we can buy, get things there in USA (usually Florida) and get an express delivery to our countries. This is a safer and quickest service than official country mail (wich I strongly don't trust)
