Hello...!

Hello all. I was pointed toward this forum and I figured I'd actually introduce myself.
Let's see...I first started playing Go back in early 2004. I didn't really know what to do at the time, so I bought some books and studied at home, and I watched other people play on KGS (too scared to actually play myself, at the time). Then I happened to meet someone at a convention who knew Go. Turned out he was from my town. We started playing together and then, not long after, I found out that Coral Springs had a Go club. I started attending and was slowly getting better.
I moved the next year to a part of Florida that simply didn't have Go players (or, if it did, I never found them). So my game sort of fell apart. Not that it was especially good to begin with, but at least I could hold my own against other low level players.
So I'm back now, focusing on KGS and studying. I've put out feelers in my current city to try and find some local players. I actually got a response, and hopefully we'll meet up soon. I'm anxious to play face-to-face with someone again.
I'm always open for games on KGS if you see me. I consider myself back down to 30 kyu for the moment, because I'm having to re-learn so much. But hopefully it won't stay that way for long. =D
