Wow if true I am both sad that an era has ended, but happy for Bill - whose kindness and talent are freed up for other things.

Go Universe stopped working for me tonight as well. Coincidence or new owners not wanting competition? Time will tell...

I have a hard time accepting this to be true, because it has been announced in an off hand manner in the bgg forum. Since it is there in April, it really smacks of foolery.

Try to clear browser cookies. The address of an JSON-translator was changed this may cause your issue after update.

I read that a few days ago. Is this Real Soon Now relating that a date has been set for an announcement, or rather that we should simply expect an announcement sometime soon?

Yes.
I have seen a draft of the announcement, so I know it exists. I think it had to be passed around a largish number of people, which is why it's still in the pipeline.

Interesting to see it go to the AGF, although they likely have a vested interest and access to more resources than a single person, so it makes good sense!
Exited to see what comes out of this.
