I currently play on the following servers
WBaduk: Rank 11k Games: 25
OGS: Rank 6k Games: 167
KGS Rank 4k Games: thousands
Clearly, if some server comes along that gives me a 1d rank, I'll play millions of games there

I would've thought that you'd be about 1d on WBaduk, given that you're 4k on KGS.

I seem to be stuck in sandbaggerville there. So far my record is 10W - 15L. I signed up as a 10k years ago, and only recently re-discovered it after the android app started working again. I thought I would move up fairly quickly, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Had some fun games though...

Back when I was KGS 4k I also had trouble around 8-10k Tygem. Not sure why, perhaps I just wasn't strong enough to read out resistances to some silly moves that are common (also, sdks on Tygem seem very close together in terms of level) - once I hit KGS 1-2k suddenly the opponents felt a lot less difficult.
Edit: Wow, I read WBaduk as Tygem... my exp was also true around 8-10k WBaduk, but never went back to WBaduk so not sure if it gets easier after becoming KGS 1-2k.

Speaking of go servers, who has experience on fox? I registered last month but didn't know how ranks would compare with other servers. I registered at a "low" rank (5k) so I would deserve my higher rank but now I have trouble finding games because my win/lose record is scaring some players.

Then I strongly recommend the "GoQuest" mobile app. There, you can get to 1D or even higher in no time

.
For wbaduk I can confirm that there seems a kind of "activation energy barrier" between ddk and higher ranks. I registered there at some time as 9k, quickly went into the ddks, and it took me almost three years to get back to sdk. My recent games against 8k or 7k on wbaduk felt surprisingly easy; so maybe there is an interval in wbaduk's distribution function where the "real" strength has a negative slope...
