TBH, to me this looks like some poor “jumping the bandwagon” by using a name for Go that has been made famous by the recent documentary “The Surrounding Game”.
Also, shortlink service … where we don't know where it leads to? And missing images? Uhm, thanks, but I will decline.

Using 围棋, the millenia old name for Go in its country of origin, is jumping on a bandwagon?

The etymology between 圍棋 and 囲碁 is interesting.

I don't think that the age old name is "围棋 Тhe Surrounding Game."
The only difference from the title of the movie is using a different character (Japanese variant?) for 围 (clever way of avoiding copyright violation?).
