I've been playing go for about 10 years now, and my rank hasn't changed much from the 7 kyu status. recently I've received a message saying "no go" from an unknown source. they look like my mother, talk like my mother, but aren't my mother, as i know my mother would never try to dissuade me from one of my favorite past times. never the less, i feel i should heed the warning. i may come back to the game after while, but for the time being no go for me .

Are you sure you got the whole message? Maybe the header said "Hikaru" or something...

The actual message should read:
"no go means no life"

How do you receive a message from unknown source? Was it a paper note, or unsigned letter or what?

I'm schizophrenic. i met a person who looked like my mother spoke like my mother but didn't act like her and she told me "no go" i don't know who she really is. no not married.

i talked to my doctor about the no go message and he thinks its nothing to worry about. so I've decided not to give up the game after all.
