May be someone can compile it for Windows?
Or is it possible to configure Linux VM with full access to GPU? Does anybody know how?

As described in the readme. Here it works on Ubuntu 16.04, I just had to update cudnn to v5.1.
So far I found no way to turn of pondering. You have to specify the number of threads and gpus in the config file. You can't set it to another number, it won't work then.
