Hello! Introducing myself

Hello, L19! I'm an 8-9k on OGS and I've been playing Go for a couple of years or so (with a long break in the middle). I've lurked L19 for a while, but just as I going to make an account, registration was blocked -- however, I'm here now. On L19 I mostly like to read news about professional players, like Iyama Yuta, and discussions of their games. My favourite pros are Ke Jie and Yamashita Keigo; they really stand out from the crowd with their very different but equally daring styles. Personally I tend to be more at home with Yamashita's approach to the game. I'm very interested in Go history at all points (I love John Fairbairn's writing), and you can usually find me clearing up typos or dead links on some obscure article on Sensei's Library.

With that said, let's get along from on~ :)

Welcome!

I also find the history quite interesting. We are indebted to Mr Fairbairns for all his research and opening up so much history to us. Sometimes the tidbits are as much fun as the games themselves!

Best wishes!
