Was wondering what winter olympics events might be appropriate for Alpha to conquer. Curling comes to mind... What else?

What do you actually mean by a computer conquering physical sports?

I believe that deep learning has been used to coordinate the monstrously difficult task of physical movement in the form watching a human stack bricks and copying the process. We could have a beginner archer by 2050!* And being a game of physical and tactical maneuver, when AI can communicate with human beings we might then have a beginner level curls player.
I do remember reading that there would be an attempt to promote Go during the "Asian era" of the summer and winter Olympics. I do wonder if anyone has any updates on that (maybe start a new topic)?

Don’t forget designing better equipment. That could also be an area where AI contributes.

As long as it’s not biathalon. We don’t need a weird dystopic future involving armies of killer robots skiing into town.
