I suppose I should be happy that I'm no longer feeling as completely lost while playing as I was a couple weeks ago, though that's been replaced with I'm in control, I can win this, oh no what happened wait a minute well that was fun.
As always, thanks in advance to anyone who cares to review, comment, suggest, cajole, teach, peruse, etc.

A few top of the head comments.

Good!

Play the other atari to capture the Black stone.

Descend to E-02.

G-08 is better locally.

Ditto.

Just connect.

Thank you very much, they are appreciated!

Thanks! I've been trying to force myself to look for the bigger move. Not that it always happens, but...

Of course! By playing my atari stone at F4 instead of D4 I force him toward my supporting stone at C4. Duh.

Thanks, I like that idea...protect E3 from being ataried and build my influence along the bottom

Noted. I played G9 almost on auto-pilot, following the adage of 'if attached, hane'

Yes, I see it now. G8 is still the better move here because those two black stones weren't going anywhere soon; I could've still captured them even if he'd extended one stone further at D9

I'm assuming you mean connect at D7?
