Hey!

I played a close game today, where the winner was (most likely) decided in the endgame.
I've already reviewed a bit with Leela and I understand the game was probably lost in the endgame. Still, hoping to hear some more comments from humans ;)
Always eager to improve, so any help is appreciated!

Cheers!

At move 23, you say you do not like the A-B exchange. But would that really be bad? W would end up with 6 stones along the right side of the board, surrounding a total of only around 20 points. That seems hardly worth preventing. Most important, you would end up with sente, which is quite important now, given the unsettled lower left corner.

A few top of the head comments.

:b7: Maybe premature. How about approaching the bottom left corner from the right?

:b11: Looks slow.

:b13: Black has a mild form of overconcentration, caused by the last three moves.

:w14: Yes, jealous or greedy.

:b15: Safety????? In relatively close quarters it's four to one. Come into my parlor, said the spider to the fly. Who's the spider and who's the fly here?

:b23: Yes, this invasion looks premature.

:b37: The uppercut is one to remember.

:b41: Better than the one space jump?

:b45: Wilcox agrees with Leela. Break the sector line.

:b49: Not sure this is better than Q-06 right away.

:b93: Maybe D-13? :w94: weakens this stone. But if D-13 - C-13, Black can follow up with D-11 or maybe E-11.

:w98: Feels like a Black failure. White has erased more than Black, eh?

:b119: Maybe better to attack in the center and force White to come back and make a one point eye.
