Login problem with Yike..

First of all, I'm sorry to post it here in General Go Chat, but Yike doesn't have a subforum of its own so I thought this thread would fit here best.. Feel free to correct me. 
After some struggles and after following this very nice Guide to play on Yike, I was able to create my account in Yike. I also got verified with my.. um... "real" name and all, everything was fine (although I found it strange that instead of my usernickname my "real" name was displayed). I looked a bit around and then logged out. So far, so good.
Now I wanted to play my first game there but all I get when I want to log in is "Wrong username or password".... I always used copy & paste for both username (Chinese characters..) and password and I'm 100% sure I didn't include any empty spaces or put the wrong characters, I paid extra attention to this. I also tried to reset the password, which was successful, but to no avail. I even created a second account (with an English user name) with the same result and even though that's kinda enough to put me off under normal circumstances, I want that account. What am I missing? Has anybody experienced something similar?
EDIT: When I want to log in it says something about an CGF account number (no clue what that is) or a mobile number (never entered one). I guess, that's the problem but.. what now..?
